Italian-Ghanaian companies are studying a common market strategy

The summit of ItalianGhanaian entrepreneurs gathered in June at the residence of Italian Ambassador to Ghana Giovanni Favilli to discuss common market strategies for the coming years.

The occasion was a dinner organized by the Italian diplomat and the Honorary Consul of Ghana in Italy Massimiliano Colasuonno Taricone, together with the deputy head of the Italian missions in Ghana Lorenzo Pinelli.

In addition to the Italian and Ghanaian diplomats, the meeting was attended by Ernesto Taricone Chairman Trasacco Group, Enrico De Simone Chairman of De Simone Group, Stefano Ramella Pezza Chairman of Consar with his son and Marcello Barbisotti Chairman of Barbisotti & Sons.

The Representatives of these four companies hold up to 90% of the civil and construction sectors in Ghana since 2012, though they still remain the majority market share holders, have seen their value reduce over the last five years due to the massive investments brought  into Ghana by Governments of other European and extra European countries.
